Cadillac City Manager wins prestigious MML Award

June 2, 2017

The Michigan Municipal League (MML) presented Cadillac’s City Manager Marcus Peccia with its Community Builder Award at the MML Spring meeting in Lansing. Peccia was honored for his leadership in developing Cadillac Commons, an innovative placemaking project in downtown Cadillac. Cadillac Commons includes the Rotary Pavilion, The Plaza, City Park, and soon will be home to a Farmer’s Market and the Trailhead for the White Pine Trail.

Congratulations, Marcus!

Prein&Newhof designed The Plaza, which includes a splash pad, gas fireplace, synthetic ice skating rink, new benches, custom archway, drinking fountains, and built-in sound system. We’re proud to be a part of the City of Cadillac and on its team that turned this dream into a reality.
