In 1969, H. Edward Prein and Thomas Newhof started Prein&Newhof. Both were talented civil engineers with complementing abilities and experience. Ed and Tom, colleagues at an engineering company in Grand Rapids, set out to establish a distinctive engineering company. The business they founded allows for continuous follow through of the design intent on all projects.
