2014 SAW Grants Awarded March 12

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) announced the SAW Grant Awards on Wednesday, March 12, awarding $97M for 2014. We expect that the SAW grant program ($450M) will take another three or four years before exhausting its entire allotment.

  • 673¬†Communities applied for SAW grants.
  • MDEQ drew a total of 574 fund-able submittals that were entered into its lottery, of which 95 will be funded in 2014.
