The City of Muskegon will be replacing the water main, sanitary sewer main, and storm sewers on Hadden Street, Lexington Ave., Randolph Ave., Winchester Dr., and Westwood St. all west of Wickham Dr. Work will also include full road replacement, water service replacement and sanitary sewer service replacement. Work will begin in fall of 2026 on Hadden and Lexington. Work on the remainder of the project will begin in the spring of 2027.
Access/Traffic:
Access to your property will be maintained throughout the project. There will be periods where access to your driveway will be blocked, such as during utility installation in front of your house, installation of concrete curb and paving. During those times notice will be provided to you so that you may make other arrangements for parking your vehicle.
Mail:
Mail delivery will be maintained throughout the project.
Garbage Pickup:
The Contractor requests that your garbage bin is placed at the end of your driveway the night before your scheduled pickup. The Contractor will bring your bin to a central location and return it to your house each day of pick up.
Water Service:
Water service will be temporarily interrupted while individual houses are connected to the new water main. No prolonged water system shutdowns are expected.
