Progress:

K&R has now completed the gravity sewer installation for the project. Testing of the gravity sewer will be completed this week and upon completion, all active flow will be sent down the new sanitary gravity sewer to Pump Station No. 31.

Upcoming Work:

Restoration: Corporate Circle Drive & John F. Donnelly will be restored and paved in the coming month. Turf restoration and punch list items will continue to be worked on.

Pump Station No. 15 connection to the new force main is scheduled for MONDAY, APRIL 27. This connection will require the closure of 128th Avenue (Beeline Road to Riley Street) for a 1-day period.

Abandonment of the old force main will precede the pump station connection.

Progress Report:

K&R continues to install 24-inch gravity sanitary sewer along Corporate Circle Drive toward John F Donnelly Drive. John F Donnelly Drive was closed this past week, with utility installation schedule next week up to Request Foods pre-treatment facility.

Upcoming Work:

  • Restoration work continues for areas that need touch up work from last year’s construction activities.
  • The existing Pump Station No. 31 will be demolished.
  • Connection to Pump Station No. 15 at the intersection of Beeline Road & 128th Avenue will occur. Work is expected to be completed by June 1st, 2026.

With the snow melted and temperatures rising, K&R is back onsite to continue with the installation of the 24-inch gravity sanitary sewer along Corporate Circle Drive and John F. Donnelly. Installation continues west along Corporate Circle, with the closure of John F. Donnelly expected on April 6.

Progress Report:

Pump Station 31 startup was a success! Wastewater is now flowing to the new station and through the new force main. This startup took the coordination and effort of numerous subcontractors, K&R, Township and P&N staff. This is a major milestone and indicates the project is nearing completion.
