We are beginning a reconstruction project on Fifth Street between Summit Avenue and Broadway Avenue.  The project will remove and replace the entire roadway, drinking water mains and services to the homes, sanitary sewer main, and storm drains.

The Contractor will mobilize their equipment to the site and will close the road to through traffic.  Pavement removal will begin in the middle of the week of August 4 and continue through the week.  The Contractor will keep a lane open and access to homes as much as possible during the construction.  No on-street parking is allowed within the construction zone.  This work will also affect Summit Avenue between 6th Street and 5th Street with a new water main and pavement and fix the leaking water valve at the intersection of Summit Avenue and 5th Street.

Construction will be completed in November 2025.
