Important Information

This project is designed to extend the municipal water system and connect homes that have been affected by PFAS contamination.

All water services are available for connection. Homeowners must schedule the work directly with the contractor they selected and have their water service installed within sixty (60) days of when it became available. Please contact Jeremy Kamp (contact info below) if you have any questions.

Progress Report

Private water service installation continued throughout the project area. Quotation Forms have been received for all but one house in the project area. If you have not already contacted a prequalified general contractor to install your water service, you must do so as soon as possible to ensure that you can meet the 60-day connection requirement.

As of December 2, forty-two (42) houses – 60% of the project area – have connected to the municipal water system. See status map above for reference.

Important Information

Once the water service stub has been installed out to the public road right-of-way in front of your house, you will receive a letter from our staff on site informing you that your water service is ready for connection. You will have sixty (60) days from the date of the letter to connect to the municipal water system. If you have not already contacted a private water service contractor about installing your free water service, you should do so as soon as possible to ensure you can meet the sixty (60) day connection requirement.

There will be times that the area in front of your homes is torn up and you will have limited access to your home. Please let us know if you have any special access needs and we will do our best to make arrangements with you.

The contractor will be contacting you to make arrangements for mail delivery and garbage collection. Please let us know if you have any problems with this.

  • Reith-Riley (Wyoming’s asphalt subcontractor) completed paving the top course on road patches.
  • Wyoming completed lawn restoration throughout the project and general project clean up.

  • Wyoming will work on removing all the temporary traffic controls and complete any final project clean up.

  • Reith-Riley (Wyoming’s asphalt subcontractor) completed paving on Wildwood Creek Drive, asphalt driveways and approaches, and necessary road patches.
  • Wyoming continued to work on lawn restoration along Pixley Avenue and overall project clean up.

 

Next week:
  • Wyoming will complete final lawn restoration along the edges of all newly paved areas.
  • Wyoming will work on overall project clean up with the goal of having the project completed by the end of the week.

This week:

  • Wyoming completed water services on Pixley Avenue. All water services throughout the project are now ready for connection. If you have not already contacted an approved General Contractor about installing your water service, you should do so an soon as possible to ensure you can meet the 60-day connection requirement.
  • M&S Construction (Wyoming’s concrete subcontractor) completed concrete driveway restoration throughout the project. The asphalt apron at the ends of the concrete driveways will be installed next week.
  • Wyoming worked on lawn restoration on Van Dam Drive and Pixley Avenue.

Next week:

  • Wyoming Excavators will complete lawn restoration on Pixley Avenue.
  • Wildwood Creek Drive is scheduled to be paved on Monday (10/11). After Wildwood Creek Drive is finished, Rieth-Riley (Wyoming asphalt subcontractor) will work on asphalt driveway paving and miscellaneous patch work throughout the project.

  • Wyoming pressure tested and disinfected the new water main on Pixley Avenue.
  • Wyoming Excavators completed two water main tie-ins on Pixley at Belmont Avenue and Van Dam Drive. All of the new water main is now installed!
  • Wyoming Excavators completed water service installations on Wildwood Creek Drive and began installing water services on Pixley Avenue.
  • Wyoming Excavators began grading the road on Wildwood Creek Drive in preparation for paving in early October.
  • Wyoming Excavators completed storm sewer work along Van Dam Drive.
Next week:
  • Wyoming Excavators will complete water service installation on Pixley Avenue.
  • Wyoming Excavators will continue grading the road on Wildwood Creek Drive, paving is tentatively scheduled for 10/11.
