Plainfield Charter Township is planning to construct a mile of new water main to complete a water main loop on the south side of West River Drive between Rogue River Road and Ethelwin Avenue. The project also includes the abandonment of existing water service lines that cross under West River Drive. This project is expected to begin around the beginning of May and be completed by early August 2026.
Access/Traffic:
Single lane closures along West River Drive will be used to facilitate construction.
Mail:
Mail service will be maintained throughout construction.
Garbage Pickup:
Garbage service will be maintained throughout construction.
Water Service:
Minor impacts to water service will be necessary to facilitate water service replacements as well as water main connections. You will be notified ahead of time if your water service is expected to be temporarily impacted during construction.
