Work completed/in progress from this past week:
- Lakewood closed between 160th and 152nd. Traffic detoured to James Street.
- Lakewood closed between 152nd and 144th. Traffic detoured to Ottawa Beach.
- 36″ transmission main construction commenced.
- Installation of some dewatering, where required.
- Continued staging pipe materials.
- Pipe manufacturer visited site to review construction methods with contractor.
Anticipated activities for next week include the following:
- Continue 36″ transmission main construction.
- Water service verification and replacement (as necessary).
- Utility locating.
- Removal and replacement of large culvert just east of Harderwyk Ministries.
- Mobilization of some HDD equipment.
