Dykema Excavators’ crews worked on the preliminary earth work for the new trail. They removed the topsoil along 9 Mile Road and began preparing the area for gravel. The crews are also working on building the first two of five retaining walls on the project. At the same time, subcontractor Riverworks has been hard at work finishing the boardwalk.
Next Week
Riverworks will be on site to finish the decking and restore the area under the boardwalk. Crews from Dykema will continue building the retaining walls on 9 Mile and will finish installing storm sewer along Meyers Lake.
