This Week:
- Dewatering equipment and pumps have been set up; this includes a carbon treatment system to remove PFAS from the groundwater.
- Water samples will be taken today and tested over the weekend to ensure that the treatment system is working properly and removing the PFAS in the groundwater.
Next Week:
- Pending passing test results, the groundwater dewatering pumps and treatment system will be turned on to draw down the groundwater.
- DeSal will begin moving equipment and material on site early in the week and start water main construction later in the week once the groundwater has been drawn down enough to dry out the water main trench.
