This Week:
Schippers had a crew on site and began field verifying some of the utility crossings along the force main route. Schippers also began installing force main along the access road between Family Fare and Plainfield Avenue. See map above for force main installation progress from this week.
Marksman (Schippers bore & jack subcontractor) attempted to complete the casing installation under the box culvert in the Plainfield Service Drive but encountered some unanticipated conflicts that did not allow for the casing installation to be completed. Marksman is packing up their equipment and will leave the site until some further investigation work can be completed.
Next Week:
Schippers will continue to install force main next week. The force main installation may jump around to different areas of the project because the force main fitting delivery has been delayed.
