Progress Report:

This week Miller Bridge, along with Michigan Pavers and Walls, poured the foundations for the large block walls at the ends of the bridge for the pathway and began to set some of the large block units on the west side. On the east side, they completed pouring the slope paving against the new bridge abutment to protect it from erosion at the water level. In addition, they have begun working on the forms and reinforcement steel for the concrete that will cover the H-Piles in the bayou.

On the trail they began clearing and removing topsoil for sections east of the bridge and completed the last small block wall.

Upcoming Work:

Next week Miller Bridge anticipates that they will continue to work on the large block walls, forming and pouring the H-Pile concrete, and continuing pathway work to the east.
