This week on Airway Street, crews from Al’s Excavating, Lite Loads, and L&O Concrete have been working hard in the heat to finish up the remaining pathway items.
- Lite Loads paved the remaining layer of asphalt on Tuesday, followed by prep work for the concrete driveway replacements and curb ramp work on Thursday.
- Friday and into next week, Al’s Excavating will finish restoring the topsoil and prepare the project area for seeding.
- There is still more work to do on the eastern side of the project that will be completed shortly.
On Jericho Avenue, 28 Specialties has continued construction on two of the remaining three retaining walls. They expect to be finished and moving on to the last and final wall by early next week.
Crews from Al’s Excavating have been working on pathway grading and removing sand from the retaining wall areas for storage and use on later parts of the project.
