Progress Report: Dean’s Excavating began work on August 26. The contractor placed the new 24” transmission main up to just north of Barry St.
Upcoming Work: The contractor will continue north towards Van Buren St installing the new water main.
Extra Notes: The contractor does not plan to reach or close Van Buren next week. Van Buren will likely remain open until the middle of the week of September 9 with at least one week notice for the closure. In addition, while 48th Ave remains open to the residents and businesses that are on it, the road is closed to through traffic, and police officers are present to keep the construction site safe from unnecessary traffic.
