Work that took place this week:

The Contractor replaced a deep sanitary sewer manhole structure near Laketon and the last water services and all homes and businesses on the north side of Lakeshore Drive are now connected to the new 30-inch water main. Taps were made for receiving water services from homes and businesses on the south side. The new water main was tied into the existing system on Wednesday and the old 24” water main on the north side is being removed between McCracken and Addison and should be done this afternoon. The remainder of the new drainage system on the north side of the road can be installed now that the water main will be out of the way. New concrete bases for the new lighting system have been delivered to the site.

Here is what to expect next week, the week of July 15, 2019:

All remaining materials from the north water main will be hauled off site (and recycled!)
The remaining drainage system on the north side of the road will be completed
Cutting of the roadway for the installation of the road base (gravel) will take place between McCracken and Addison
The gravel will be graded and prepared for paving to begin the following week, the week of July 22
Some utility poles and old ‘cobra head’ lighting will be removed and that work will span into the week of July 22
