Progress Report:
This week Miller Bridge completed the pour for the east side abutment wall. They also worked on forming the expansion joints on the bridge, including placing the steel joint itself. Subcontractor DGT Solutions began work this week driving the helical piles that will support the large block retaining walls at the ends of the bridge.
Upcoming Work:
Miller Bridge anticipates that they will continue work on the bridge expansion joints while DGT Solutions drives the helical piles. As the piles are placed West Michigan Pavers and Walls will start pouring the concrete footing for the retaining walls over the piles.
In addition, crews intend to start back up working on the path, clearing and grubbing to the east, starting east of the bridge.
