All the water services stubs have been installed to the right-of-way line, which means water service is available for all residents. As of June 25, eleven (11) houses (15%) have connected to the municipal water system.
Quotation forms have been received for 64 houses (90% of the neighborhood). If residents have not yet made arrangements with a contractor to complete the private water service work, they must do so soon. The neighborhood is approximately halfway through the 60-day requirement for getting water services connected.
Bultsma Excavating has an underground sprinkling contractor scheduled to complete the sprinkling repairs starting on or around July 2. The delay is due to the water main being installed faster than the anticipated schedule, and sub-contractors are backlogged with catching up on delayed work due to COVID–19.
Final lawn restoration will follow shortly after sprinkler repairs and final driveway/sidewalk restoration are completed.
What to Expect Next Week (June 29 – July 3)
- Bultsma and their subcontractor will focus on sprinkler system repairs and then lawn restoration.
- Water service installation will continue on private property.
- Private water service installation
- Lawn/driveway restoration
- project completion
