Phase 2:
This Week:
- Montgomery connected the new water main to the existing water main at the north intersection of Audley Drive and Miramar Avenue.
- Montgomery worked the rest of the week on water service replacements on Audley Drive.
- The south half of the water main on Audley Drive was pressure tested and disinfected the first half of the week.
Next Week:
- Montgomery will complete the remaining water service replacements on the south end of Audley Drive.
- Once all of the water services have been connected to the new water main, Montgomery will connect the new water main to the existing water main at the south intersection of Audley Drive and Miramar Avenue. This connection is tentatively scheduled for next Tuesday. After this connection is completed, Montgomery can abandon the old water main by filling it with flowable fill and remove the old hydrants.
- Montgomery plans to install the water main and water services on the north half of Daylor Drive yet this year. Montgomery will be contacting residents on Daylor Drive first thing next week to provide more information. Expect water main construction to begin on Daylor Drive middle of next week.
