Here is a brief update for the improvements to Glenside Boulevard between Broadway Avenue (Garrison) and Sherman Boulevard. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with us and we can’t paint a wet road. The 3+ days of rain this week have delayed opening the road 3+ days.
Work Completed this Past Week:
- Top course of asphalt was placed on the roadway and the path
- Wiring was installed for the new street lights
- New street light poles were delivered to the site
Work Anticipated Week of October 30, 2023
- Striping and painting is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023
- New street signs
- New street lights will be installed on Tuesday, October 31, 2023
- Excavation for new sign wall near Wesco
- Punchlist and site cleanup
- Reopen the road is now scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2023
