Work Completed this Past Week:
- All water main on 7th Street has been installed – over 2,000 feet of pipe!
- Water main in installed in Amsterdam between Highland and 7th Street was installed
Work Anticipated Week of September 4, 2023 (Labor Day)
- No work will take place on Monday, September 4, 2023
- Water main will continue to be installed on Amsterdam between 7th and 6th Street
- Water main will be installed in Summit between 7th Street and 6th Street
- Water main will begin to be tested for leaks and safety
- Possibly begin installing and replacing some drainage system piping
Work Anticipated Week of September 11, 2023
- Begin water main connections of the new water main to the existing water system – this will involve water main shut downs. Customers will be notified ahead of time.
- Installation of storm drainage pipes and structures
- Gather information for scheduling water service replacements
