This Week:
- Force main construction continued along Wolven Avenue. The pipe has been installed to just south of Stoneridge.
- The force main discharge manhole was lined with a cured-in-place liner to protect the concrete against sewer gases.
- Dean’s continued the process of connecting the drilled sections of pipe together with couplers.
- Dean’s worked on some piping around the lift station site on Friday.
- The force main will be installed across 10 Mile Road next week.
- 10 Mile Road will have a lane closure on the southern eastbound lane Monday (9/23) morning so that existing gas mains under the road can be verified prior to drilling past them.
- Dean’s pipe crew will continue to test the next section of the force main and install air release structures along Wolven Avenue.
