This Week:
- After all of the existing utilities were located along 10 Mile Road, the last directional drill was completed this week. The force main was installed under 10 Mile Road and only about 300 feet of force main is remaining to be installed!
- Dean’s completed a pressure test on a portion of the new force along Wolven Avenue.
- Dean’s continued the process of connecting the drilled sections of pipe together with couplers and setting an air release manhole along Wolven Avenue.
- Paving was completed along Wolven Avenue near Hopewell Drive.
- Dean’s crew will complete the remaining force main installation along the Premier Park driveway. This section of force main is deep and therefore installation will be slow.
- The driveway to the West Michigan Archer Center will be closed for a few days next week while the force main is installed across it.
- Pending weather, force main installation should be complete by the end of next week.
- Testing will then take place on the last section of force main the week of October 7.
- Final force main connections can then be completed after the testing
