Last week the crews finished one of the large curved retaining walls back in the woods. They have also been hard at work installing the bracing at the boardwalk that can be seen from Eastbound I-96 just west of the Nunica exit.
What to Expect This Week
This week the crews will be working back in the woods again. The earthwork crew will continue to grade the pathway, cut into the hills, and place the gravel subbase for the trail. The retaining wall crew has started the longest and tallest wall and will continue building that this week. While the boardwalk crew will continue at the boardwalk with the remaining piles expected to be driven by the end of the week.
All work is weather dependent, and it looks as though this week will be mostly dry.
Be mindful of trucks hauling material in and out of the Terra Verde Golf Course.
