Work Completed this Past Week:
- Many water services were tied over to the new water main and replaced all the way into the home – nearly 20 of them
- This has been the focus of the project lately
Work Anticipated Week of October 2, 2023
- More water service replacements – hopefully finish as many as possible to get the last few done on 7th Street
- Water Main Tie-in Is scheduled for the intersection of 7th and Summit on Tuesday, October 3, 2023
- This will affect nearly 100 residents on 7th Street between Broadway and Rotterdam, on Summit between 8th and 5th, and on 6th, between Summit and Oakwood who haven’t been tied over to the 18-inch water main yet
- Water Main Tie-in is scheduled for the intersection of Amsterdam and 6th Street on Wednesday, October 4, 2023
- This will affect nearly 100 residents on 6th Street between Summit and Norton – no matter which water main they are connected to, and on 7th Street between Rotterdam and Summit.
- Storm drainage pipes and structures will be installed in locations on 7th Street
- A sanitary manhole may be replaced at Amsterdam and 7th Street
Work Anticipated Week of October 9, 2023
- Finish any remaining water service replacements
- Additional water main tie-ins to the existing water system
- Additional Storm Drainage pipe and structure installation
- Possibly begin grading
