Work this week consisted of grading sand subgrade and placing aggregate on the roadway to prepare for concrete. It may not look like it, but the end is near.

Work completed:

  • New aggregate was placed to the project limit.
  • Guardrail fence along the path was installed.

Anticipated work for next week:

  • Pour concrete curbs, drive approaches, and sidewalks. Concrete curbs are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday. Roads with one point of entry will be completed in halves to maintain access.
  • Pave new path from 174th to Mohawk.
  • Prepare road for paving. Paving of the road is tentatively scheduled for September 6 through 9.

As concrete approaches are completed, the Contractor will notify you if you will be losing access to your driveway temporarily. We ask that you park in locations out of the way of construction for your safety and to stay off the new concrete with vehicles for 5 days or until the Contractor onsite says it is okay.
