Unfortunately, some of the new lift station materials have been delayed again, so the new lift station will not be operational until early 2025. Construction has continued however near the lift station over the last few weeks. DVT Electric has been installing conduits and pouring concrete for the new lift station control panel. Once the new control panel has been installed, Consumers Energy will then run a new power service to the control panel.
Dean’s Excavating anticipates they will receive the remaining lift station materials in January 2025. Once these materials are on site Dean’s crew will be back to complete the lift station piping. After the new lift station piping is installed and tested, Dean’s will install the remaining gravity sanitary sewer to redirect the wastewater flows to the new lift station.
Final restoration around the new lift station will take place in the Spring of 2025.
