Grants available for Green Stormwater Infrastructure

Up to $7.8 million expected to be awarded in 2017

The Sustain Our Great Lakes (SOGL) program is accepting proposals for projects that improve habitat and water quality in the Great Lakes basin using green stormwater infrastructure. Eligible applicants include non–profit organizations, educational institutions, and state, tribal, and local governments.

There are three categories being awarded in 2017:

  • Stream and Riparian Habitat
  • Coastal Wetlands
  • Green Stormwater Infrastructure (new funding category)

The full proposal deadline is Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
