Michigan disaster areas can get 75% grants to fix, prevent flood damages

Communities in the Michigan counties of Allegan, Barry, Baraga, Gogebic, Houghton, Ionia, Kent, Keweenaw, Marquette, Midland, Muskegon, Newaygo, Ontonagon, Osceola, Ottawa and Saginaw are eligible for up to 75% grants from FEMA to fix flood damages or  mitigate the potential for damages in future floods. P&N has helped several clients build new bridges, perform structure acquisitions, raze flood-prone structures, and build off-stream flood storage facilities with FEMA money from previous disaster declarations.

You can see more details on FEMA’s disaster programs here, or contact Tom Smith at Prein&Newhof for more information on how P&N can help you secure FEMA grants.
