Prein&Newhof is proud to announce that Michael Presta recently earned his Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Michigan.
To earn the PE License in the State of Michigan, one must complete a four-year college degree, pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years (three years for those with a graduate degree), and pass the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam. This extensive process ensures competency in the profession.
Presta joined Prein&Newhof in 2015, after graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. His responsibilities include design engineering, construction observation, stormwater permitting, site plan review, collection and evaluation of asset management-related data for various Michigan communities. Presta is a member of the American Public Works Association (APWA). He is also a Certified Storm Water Operator.
