Prein&Newhof is proud to announce that Jonathan Nelson recently earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Michigan.
To earn the PE license in the State of Michigan, individuals must earn a four–year college degree, pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, and pass the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam. This extensive process ensures competency in the profession.
At Prein&Newhof, it is one of our values to build expertise in the fields we serve. We take pride in building a team of professionals who hold themselves to the highest standard.
Jonathan Nelson graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (2013) and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (2015). Since Jonathan joined P&N in 2015, his responsibilities have included design and modeling for projects related to sewer and stormwater, hydrology, and hydraulics. He also takes on responsibilities in the field, including construction observation and data collection. Nelson is a member of the Michigan Stormwater-Floodplain Association.
