Village of Lyons Receives Bridge Street Streetscape MEDC Downtown Infrastructure Grant

Congrats to the Village of Lyons, who won over $600,000 towards downtown infrastructure improvements!

Prein&Newhof’s engineer, Jason Washler, helped Lyons apply for the MEDC Downtown Infrastructure Grant from Pure Michigan.

The money will help improve their downtown by reconstructing Bridge Street.  The proposed streetscape project will include storm sewer improvements, permeable pavers, on-street parking, water system improvements, sidewalk improvements, traffic calming, and ADA accessibility improvements.
