Progress Report:
Work began on Monday (7/6) morning with asphalt removal on Sleepy Hollow Lane and Sand Hollow Drive. The contractor, Cutting Edge Excavating, has been hydro-excavating to locate utilities such as water main, water services, gas services, and underground electrical and fiber optic lines. Locating these utilities verifies their location and depth so that the excavators can operate without damaging these utilities.
Materials such as concrete pipe are being delivered and stored on the east end of Tarry Town Road. This area will be used by Cutting Edge as an area to store equipment and materials during the project.
Temporary mailboxes have been constructed at Mason Street.
Upcoming Work:
- Asphalt removal will continue with the remainder Sleepy Hollow Lane and the western portion of Tarry Town Road.
- Hydro-excavating for utilities will continue through the week, and materials will continue being delivered.
