Progress Report
- Old gas main was removed and replaced
- Communication lines were relocated and supported to allow for the new tunnel construction
- West wing walls are being assembled
- West parapet wall was poured above the tunnel
Upcoming Work Planned for the Next Few Weeks:
- West wing walls will be completed with modular block
- Additional work on the west parapet wall will be completed
- Excavation for additional tunnel sections under east side utilities
- Remaining tunnel sections will be installed, and east walls will be built now that utilities are relocated and secured
- Restoration will begin on the west side of the tunnel after walls are completed
