The Cannonsburg Rd, Chauncey Dr to Pettis Ave section of the much-anticipated Grand River Greenway Project is scheduled for construction this summer in Cannon Township. This section is a part of the Greenway Project that will connect The White Pine Trail to Ada by the end of this year.
Construction is scheduled to start in mid-June 2026 with tree removal, and work on the pathway and boardwalks will commence immediately after. Project completion is anticipated by the end of September 2026.
Access/Traffic:
No Detours Anticipated. The project will be constructed with shoulder closures and temporary lane closures.
