Unfortunately, the contractors were unable to do the final paving today. They will be on site tomorrow to pave Grouse Ct, the speed humps and the driveways that were removed. Thank you again for your patience.
The contractor is still working on the drives and Grouse Ct to get them ready for asphalt paving. Reith Riley will also be on site today to prep the areas for speed bumps. If all goes as planned today, final paving will take place tomorrow. Thank you for your continued patience.

Thank you for your continued patience as we improve some of the streets at Quail Crest. The following is the updated schedule for the remainder of the project. This schedule is weather dependent.
Updated schedule:
8/24 Monday – Milling blue phase streets and removing asphalt drives per contract
8/25 Tuesday – Place base course of asphalt on blue phase streets and drives
8/26 Wednesday – Excavate and install gravel on Grouse Ct and adjust manholes in the blue section
8/27 Thursday – Complete excavation and gravel work on Grouse Ct
8/28 Friday – Pave base course of asphalt on Grouse Ct and pave top course all remaining street sections and drives
8/31 Prep and install speed bumps
9/1 Install pavement markings
As you can see, the contractor made great progress (mostly) as planned this week on the road project. Feel free to drive on the roads in phase 1 as needed. However, please avoid parking on the edges of the new pavement for the next week to allow the valley gutters time to cure. This will help avoid damaging this part of the pavement.
The contractors ran into some unforeseen conditions on Grouse Ct. that have delayed that part of the project as well as the final top course of asphalt to the east of Grouse Ct. The contractors will be back next Monday to remove driveways and start milling the pavement in phase 2. The work on Grouse Ct. is still being scheduled. Stay tuned for further updates. Construction is expected to start next Monday, August 10 on the streets shown on the map. The red streets will be done as Phase 1 and then the blue streets will follow. In addition, the driveways to 2282 & 2283 Partridge Ct (shared driveway), 4899 North Quail Crest, 4915 North Quail Crest, 2270 South Thrush Ct, and 5073 South Quail Crest will be done as part of Phase 2. Also, 4 speed humps will be placed at the end of Phase 2.
