Construction is progressing on the water main and road improvements in Muskegon Heights. Construction is proceeding on schedule!
Progress Report
- New water main pipe installed in Broadway between Glade and Temple and in Broadway between 9th & 5th Streets
- New water mains are being tested and prepared for connection to the City system
- Pavement cuts for preparations of water main work on Delano between Reynolds and Ray Streets, and near Hackley Avenue
The posted detour for Broadway Avenue is Glade Street to Summit Avenue to Peck Street back to Broadway.
Upcoming Work Planned for Next Few Weeks:
- Water main replacement will continue on Broadway Avenue between Temple and 9th Street
- Water main tie-ins will occur at Glade and at 5th Street. This should cause only minimal disruption to a few customers who will be notified next week
- New water services will be installed to the new water main into the homes/buildings
- Pavement removals for water main work on Delano between Reynolds and Ray Streets
