Construction is progressing on water main and road improvements in Muskegon Heights, and as the weather improves, the construction will speed up!
Progress Report
- Pavement removal continued on Broadway between 5th Street and Glade Street
- Water Main pipe replacement began today near Glade Street
- Tree trimming and tree removals are being done for other projects throughout the City starting near the water tank
The posted detour for Broadway Avenue is Glade Street to Summit Avenue to Peck Street back to Broadway.
Upcoming Work Planned for Next Few Weeks:
- More tree removals on Sanford Street south of Oakwood and at Delano and Riordan
- Water main replacement will continue on Broadway between Glade and 5th Streets
- No drinking water disruptions are planned for the next week or two
