Construction is progressing on water main and road improvements in Muskegon Heights, and as the weather improves, the construction will speed up!
Progress Report
- New water main pipe installed in Broadway between Glade and Temple and in Broadway between 8th & 5th Streets
- Preparations and meetings held for other upcoming projects
- Tree trimming and tree removals have been completed for other projects throughout the City, starting near the water tank
The posted detour for Broadway Avenue is Glade Street to Summit Avenue to Peck Street back to Broadway.
Upcoming Work Planned for Next Few Weeks:
- Water main replacement will continue on Broadway Avenue between Temple and 8th Street
- Pavement cuts for future work at Hackley and Baker and in Delano between Howden and Ray Streets
- Water main tie-ins at the west end of the project may require temporary water disruption for customers between Sherman and Summit, west of Temple in Muskegon Heights.
