Progress Report
- Broadway, Glade to Temple: Underground utilities are complete. Road gravel base has been installed. Concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk has been installed on the north side of the road.
- Broadway, 9th to 5th: Water main is complete and all tie ins and water services are connected to the new mains. Sanitary sewer manholes are being replaced, starting at 6th Street and working west to 9th Street.
- Delano Avenue: New water main is installed in the intersections of Howden and Wood Streets. These new water mains will be connected after they are tested. Planned testing will be next week and the connections will likely be the week after.
The posted detour for Broadway Avenue is Glade Street to Summit Avenue to Peck Street back to Broadway.
The posted detour for Delano Avenue is Reynolds Street to Hackley Avenue to Getty Street
Upcoming Work Planned for Next Few Weeks:
- Sanitary sewer manholes will be replaced in the intersections of Broadway between 9th and 7th Streets
- Additional water main work will occur on 6th Street between Manahan and Sherman
- Storm drain work will take place on Broadway between 9th and 5th Streets
- Water service replacements are happening all over the City as part of the Lead Service Line Replacement program
- Additional water main connections will take place down Delano east of Wood Street
- Storm drains will be replaced in the intersections of Delano and Howden and Wood after the water main is connected
