Progress Report
- Broadway: All water main is now installed.
- Broadway: Sanitary sewer manholes are installed in intersections up to 9th Street
- Broadway: Crews were preparing to install underdrain and prepare the road for gravel road base between 5th and 9th Streets
- Painting crews mobilized to begin painting the tank soon
- Delano Avenue: Water main connections were made in several locations along Delano
- Crews began preparations to begin work on Sanford Street between Norton and Oakwood next week
The posted detour for Broadway Avenue is Glade Street to Summit Avenue to Peck Street back to Broadway.
The posted detour for Delano Avenue is Reynolds Street to Hackley Avenue to Getty Street
Upcoming Work Planned for Next Few Weeks:
- No work will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026, due to Memorial Day Holiday
- Broadway: Roadway restoration work will begin between 9th and 5th Streets with underdrain installation and gravel road base installation
- Broadway: The last remaining water services will be connected to the new water main
- Water service replacements are happening all over the City as part of the Lead Service Line Replacement program
- Delano: Additional water main connections will take place east of Wood Street
- Delano: Storm drains will be replaced in several intersections
- Sanford: Detours and traffic controls will be installed and the pavement will be removed next Wednesday
