Construction has finally started on the Courtland Township pump stations. K&R is starting at Pump Station 8 and plans to start at Pump Station 5 in mid-November. Both stations should be complete by the end of the year.
Pump Station 8
Work Completed:
- Bypass connection and valves installed, bypass pumping started
- Old equipment demolished and removed, wet well cleaned, electrical service disconnected
- New piping and valves mostly installed
Upcoming Work:
- Complete installation and testing of new piping
- Cut existing structures and install new lids
- Install new pumps
Traffic Control:
- Bypass pumps are installed in the middle of Hessler and Orlin with cones and barricades
- Traffic lanes remain open and driveable through intersection
