Van Buren – Butternut to US-31

Van Buren from Butternut to US-31 is closed.

• Road building between 140^th and 136^th continues.
• Restoration between 152^nd and 144^th began.
• Work on miscellaneous transmission main items continued.
• Next week there will be an excavation near 140^th Avenue to make a repair to the transmission main.
• Work inside the pipe continues.

164^th – New Holland to Van Buren

164^th Ave is closed between New Holland and Van Buren.

• A haul road was constructed this week to aid in transmission main installation.
• Transmission main installation will begin later next week.

Van Buren – US-31 to 96^th Avenue

Van Buren from US-31 to 120^th Ave is closed.

• The tunneling operation beneath US-31 has been suspended for the time being.
• Work continued on valve vault piping and work on adjacent appurtenances near 128^th Avenue. This work is nearly complete.
• Next week, the pipe crew will begin pipe installation near 120^th Avenue.

New Holland – 104^th to 96^th & Easement

Van Buren Street between 104^th and 96^th Avenue is closed.

• Work continued on pipe appurtenances adjacent to Van Buren Street.
• Next week, work will continue in Van Buren Street.
• The interior of the pipe is being prepared for final acceptance testing.

Drinking Water Plant – Surge Suppression System

• The sump has been constructed.
• Basement plumbing has been installed and encased in concrete.
• A mud mat was placed.
• Next week, work on the basement slab will continue.
