Construction on State Street and Main Street continues with storm sewer and water main installation. Road rebuilding begins this week on Main Street east of State Street.
North bound and south bound traffic on State Street is being maintained until work is completed on Main Street East of State Street. Road closure will be in place from the centerline of State Street east to the project limits. Main Street traffic east of State Street must continue to follow the posted detour.
Work Completed Last Week:
- Water main connected to the existing system on State St. south of Main St.
- Water service installation on State St. south of Main St.
- Continued storm sewer installation on State St. east of the road centerline.
- Curb and sidewalk removed on Main St. east of State St. centerline.
Anticipated Work This Week:
- Continue site grading in preparation for curb concrete pour.
- Curb installation on State St and Main St. east of State St. centerline.
- Form and install concrete light pole bases and planter boxes east of State St. centerline.
- Installation of insertion valve on Main St. west of State St.
