Starting Monday, October 12, Myers Lake Avenue will be closed south of Belding Road while sanitary sewer construction is completed through the intersection.

Traffic will be detoured east to Ramsdell Avenue.

The closure is expected to last approximately two weeks, with the intersection scheduled to reopen by Friday, October 23.

Dean’s Excavating will install the new 21-inch sanitary sewer main approximately 15 feet deep across the intersection while removing the existing pipeline. A pump and haul operation will be required for one day near the end of next week to allow Dean’s Excavating to connect the new sewer to the existing sewer. The pump and haul operation will require semi tankers to be staged along the east shoulder of Myers Lake Avenue, north of Belding Road, and will close off the south driveway of Huntington Bank for one day.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as Cannon Township completes this important infrastructure improvement.
