Progress Report:
The project has shifted most work activities to Shaffer Avenue north of 36th Street with ongoing bridge work, storm sewer replacement and pavement removal. HMA Paving is expected in the coming weeks for Shaffer Ave both north and south of the roundabout.
Upcoming Work:
Asphalt paving is expected in the coming weeks for Shaffer Ave both north and south of the roundabout which will bring the project closer to its completion. Final work items like restoration, pavement markings, signing, and guardrail will be required prior to opening the roadway to traffic.
Notes:
Shaffer Avenue and 36th Street are still closed to through traffic and traffic is to follow the signed detour. Local access to the project site will remain. Construction personnel and cones will direct you on how to reach your property.
