Infrastructure Asset Management Plans
Your community deserves practical, well-planned systems that meet your needs today and will help you grow tomorrow. Asset Management is one of the tools that we use to help you get the most from your assets at the lowest long–term cost and to reduce short–term, high emergency costs.
Asset Management for community infrastructure is the process of collecting information on all your pipes, manholes, roads, etc. and managing them with a map and a database, so you know the condition of each and can plan when best to replace and repair. Why? So you can prevent costly disasters and emergencies in the most cost-effective, efficient way possible. We have the technology and data to find potentially critical conditions and fix them before they become nightmares.
Prein&Newhof has developed a program that establishes your asset management system—from data-gathering to public communication—and gives continuing support thereafter. We helped 46 communities across Michigan apply for and completed the EGLE-funded Stormwater, Asset Management, and Wastewater Program (SAW) Asset Management Grant Program.
We provide Asset Management Plans for:
- Wastewater Systems
- Storm water Systems
- Drinking Water Systems
- Non-Motorized Paths
