Non-Motorized Trails

A non-motorized trail enhances a community. It encourages community health, and can support local business, tourism, and civic pride. It can bring people together. but first you have to build it.

Trail projects take months of coordination and cooperation among residents, businesses, road commissions, funding agencies, and permitting agencies. We help build relationships that bring trails to life.

We manage trail projects from start to finish—planning, funding, design, floodplain and wetland permitting, easement and right-of-way acquisition, surveying, and soil testing. Our engineers know the appropriate ADA, AASHTO, and MDOT design standards.

We are an ally during community meetings and an on-site representative during construction. Our field crews are experienced at keeping residents informed.

Looking for funding? We have administered a variety of trails grant programs and can work with you to develop creative financing packages.
