Upcoming Work:
The contractor notified us that construction will begin on March 30, 2026 on Stage 1 of this project. Closures will include 48th Ave from north of Port Sheldon St to south of Tyler St. Traffic on 48th Ave will utilize Port Sheldon St, 36th Ave, and Baldwin Street. Detour Map
The contractor plans on mobilizing, installing dewatering, completing traffic control measures, and starting on the sanitary sewer installation.
Note:
We ask the public to respect the workers and the closed road and that they be aware that police will continue to be present to ensure safe and effective working conditions. Drivers will be stopped and ticketed if found attempting to use the 48th Ave north of Port Sheldon St.
