Progress Report

• Broadway: The road was opened last Friday to traffic. Only punch list items remain.
• Delano Avenue: The final course of asphalt was installed today. The road is now open to all traffic.
• Sanford Street: Concrete work was completed, the first course of asphalt was installed and manhole and valve structures are being raised to the final elevations. The road is still closed to thru traffic.
• Oakwood Avenue: Underground utility work was completed this week with the final water main tie-ins and storm drain work in the Waalkes and Lemuel intersections
• Amsterdam Avenue: All water main work is complete and tied in to the distribution system.
• Getty Tank: Priming and painting of the tank continues. Roughly 60% of the work is complete now. Additional coats of paint will be done on the exterior.
• Approximately 75 lead water service lines were removed this week

Upcoming Work Planned for Next Few Weeks:

• Water service replacements are happening all over the City as part of the Lead Service Line Replacement program.
• Delano: Final restoration and new signs will be installed
• Sanford: Finish raising structures, final restoration, new signs, and the final course of asphalt is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, August 19. The road should be open to traffic by the end of the week.
• Oakwood: Concrete curb and gutter, road gravel, and road restoration
• Amsterdam: Sanitary sewer manholes will be replaced in the intersections of Glendale, Jefferson, and 5^th Street. New storm drains will be installed.
• Getty Tank: Additional coats of paint will be done, interior work will be done, and new fencing and gates will be installed

• Broadway: Restoration efforts are complete; the final course of asphalt was installed, and striping will be completed today. The road should be open to traffic by the end of the day today!
• Delano Avenue: Underground utility work is complete. Road and lawn restoration is ongoing. The last concrete was poured this week.
• Sanford Street: Concrete curb and gutter was installed, concrete sidewalk, driveways and ramps are planned to be poured today. Road gravel base was installed, spread and graded for asphalt next week.
• Oakwood Avenue: Water main connections took place at Lemuel and work is being done in Waalkes with new storm drains and water main connections.
• Amsterdam Avenue: New water main is now in service and customers are being connected to the new water main, and lead service lines are being replaced.
• Getty Tank: Priming and painting of the tank continues. Roughly 50% of the work is complete now. Additional coats of paint will be done on the exterior.
• Over 50 lead water service lines were removed this week

Upcoming Work Planned for Next Few Weeks:

• Broadway: Punchlist work, removal of traffic control signage, cleanup.
• Water service replacements are happening all over the City as part of the Lead Service Line Replacement program.
• Delano: Final paving, restoration. The road should be open to traffic next week.
• Sanford: Asphalt paving, structure adjustments and then the final course of asphalt late in the week. The road should be open to traffic by the end of the week.
• Oakwood: Restoration of utilities in Lemuel and Waalkes and the road reconstruction with concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk ramps
• Amsterdam: Water services will be replaced, additional water main connections, and the old water main will be taken out of service. The water main connections, when done, will connect water mains in 5^th, Glendale, and Jefferson all in one day, and there will be temporary water disruptions for a large number of customers (roughly 100) between Norton and Summit, 6^th Street to Sanford.
• Getty Tank: Additional coats of paint will be done, interior work will be done, and new fencing and gates will be installed

• Broadway: Restoration efforts are nearly complete. All structures were raised and the site is being cleaned and prepared for final paving next week. THE ROAD IS STILL CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC.
• Delano Avenue: Underground utility work is complete. Road and lawn restoration is ongoing. The first course of asphalt was placed at all intersections except Riordan and Wood. Utility poles were replaced at these intersections this week.
• Sanford Street: Concrete curb and gutter was installed, areas have been prepped for new sidewalks and driveway approaches
• Oakwood Avenue: Water main connections are taking place along Oakwood between Glade and Mona. Many connections are complete.
• Amsterdam Avenue: New water main was tested for connection to the system
• Getty Tank: Priming and painting of the tank continues. Roughly 50% of the work is complete now. New concrete curb was poured at the entrance by the cemetery, and the first course of asphalt was installed
• Over 60 lead water service lines were removed this week

• Oakwood: Water main connections will continue in Lemuel and Waalkes. After they are completed, road restoration will take place at all sites.
• Amsterdam: Water services will be replaced
• Getty Tank: Painting will continue, new fencing and gates will be installed

• Delano Avenue: Underground utility work is essentially complete, and road restoration is waiting for a couple of utility poles to be relocated next week. Road restoration should be complete in the next few weeks.
• Sanford Street: Underground utilities are completed and the road is being rebuilt now. Gravel road base is being placed now.
• Oakwood Avenue: Water main connections are taking place along Oakwood between Glade and Mona. Many connections are complete.
• Amsterdam Avenue: Water main is installed and will be tested before connection to the City system next week.
• Getty Tank: Sandblasting and painting of the tank continues. Roughly 40% of the work is complete now.
• Lead Service Lines continue to be replaced throughout the City

• Delano: Road and lawn restoration will take place between Reynolds and Getty after the paving is completed in the next 2 weeks.
• Sanford: Gravel road base will continue to be placed and concrete curb and gutter will be installed next week along with new concrete sidewalk and driveway ramps.  Asphalt will be done the first week of August.
• Oakwood: Water main connections will continue in Lemuel and Waalkes. After they are completed, road restoration will take place at all sites.
• Amsterdam: Water main will be tested next week before connection to the City system. It will be tied in and then water services will be replaced. New storm drains will be installed in intersections.
• Getty Tank: Blasting and painting will continue and the driveway to the tank from the cemetery will be completed

• Broadway: Manhole and valve structures were excavated and are being adjusted to the proper height in the asphalt that was paved last week.
• Delano Avenue: Underground utility work is nearly complete, and work is moving toward restoration with concrete sidewalk, ramps and curb and gutter being installed.
• Sanford Street: Work is being done to prepare for road reconstruction next week. This will involve grading and road gravel installation.
• Oakwood Avenue: Water main connections are taking place along Oakwood between Glade and Mona. Many connections are complete.
• Amsterdam Avenue: Water main installation has begun from 6^th Street to east of 5^th Street. The remaining portion of the original road, installed over 100 years ago, was removed.
• Getty Tank: The sandblasting shroud was installed, and paint removal has begun. Recoating of the interior has begun, along with other minor improvements to the tank.
• Lead Service Lines continue to be replaced throughout the City

• Sanford: The new roadway will be reconstructed, and concrete curb and gutter, driveway approaches and sidewalks will begin to be installed late next week or early the week of July 27
• Oakwood: Water main connections will continue
• Amsterdam: Water main installation will continue from 5^th Street to Sanford. Testing will begin next week before putting it into service and new service connections are completed.
• Getty Tank: New paint will be applied, and a new driveway will be constructed from the cemetery.

• Broadway: The first asphalt was paved yesterday between 5^th and 9^th Streets!
• Broadway: All underground utility work is complete. Concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveway approaches and sidewalk ramps are done from 5^th to 9^th and between Temple and Glade. Lawn restoration has begun already in most places along the route.
• Delano Avenue: Utility work remains at the following intersections: Jarman, Ray and Riordan. Paving has begun on Delano at alley intersections with the first course.
• Sanford Street: All underground utility work is completed. A few water services remain to be connected to the new water main.
• Oakwood Avenue: Water main connections are taking place along Oakwood between Glade and Mona. New water main is installed in Cleveland between Glade and the first ally east.
• Amsterdam Avenue: Pavement removal has begun and water main removal has begun
• Getty Tank: The tank had rigging installed for the shrouding for the old paint removal. The interior has been blasted and is being prepped for new coatings
• Lead Service Lines continue to be replaced throughout the City

• Sanford: The old water main will be taken out of service on Monday, July 13. The last few water services will be connected and road building will begin next week with cutting the sand for gravel road base to be installed
• Oakwood: Water main connections will continue to occur and residents may have temporary water disruptions in the area between Norton and Broadway and Glade and Mona while these water main connections are taking place.
• Amsterdam: Water main installation may begin later next week after additional pavement removals
• Getty Tank: Once the containment shroud is installed, blasting will begin removing the old paint and new painting may begin on the tank

• Norton Avenue: A new 18-inch valve was successfully installed on a major water transmission main near Peck Street
• Oakwood Avenue: Crews are getting portions of the pavement removed for water main connections along Oakwood between Glade and Mona. Also, a new water main will be installed in Cleveland between Glade and Lemuel.
• Amsterdam Avenue: Crews are getting ready to remove pavement for a full reconstruction of the roadway with new water main between 6^th Street and Sanford Street.
• Getty Tank: The tank was being washed this week in preparation of a new paint job
